Madura Garments, the garments’ division of Aditya Birla Group company Indian Rayon, has appointed new executives and made some transfers to push sales of its popular and fashion brands, reports The Economic Times.
The division, which grew its revenues 14.5% in the first quarter after a long period of decline, has now created independent heads for popular and fashion brands.
Mr Vasanthkumar, who till recently was division’s sales and marketing head, has now been given specific responsibilities to handle the sales and marketing of popular brands including Peter England and Elements.
Shoebe Farooqi is the new sales and marketing head of fashion brands such as Van Heusen, Allen Solly and Louis Philippe. The sales and marketing heads will report to Prakash Nedungadi, president, Madura Garments.
