BALTIC TEXTILE+LEATHER, the 12th international trade fair of textile, sewing, knitwear, shoe and leather production, raw materials and equipment, to be held on September 10-12, 2003 at the Lithuanian Exhibition Centre LITEXPO (Laisves av. 5, Vilnius).

Being a leading and significant event for textile and leather processing industries in the Baltic region, the fair Baltic Textile+ Leather will provide a perfect stage for exhibitors and buyers. 286 companies from 23 countries all over the world presented their production at the 11th international trade fair Baltic Textile +Leather on September 11-14, 2002. There were 18 700 visitors from 34 countries coming to visit the fair last year, mostly from Baltic States, Scandinavian countries , Russia, UK and Germany . The Trade Fair became significant meeting place for textile and leather industries businessman.
The main objectives of BALTIC TEXTILE + LEATHER are: -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* To provide unique opportunity to see the majority of Lithuanian textile, apparel and leather goods producers, a lot of companies from Latvia, Estonia as well as from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and other CIS countries; to inform Western partners about the products that are available;
* To give the possibility for companies to compare its products against Baltic countriesl producers; * To attract more leading European retailers and wholesalers estimating free trade agreement between EU and Lithuania on textile products; * To expand the cooperation with Eastern Europe as main Russian buyers especially from Moscow and St. Petersburg regions, Ukraine and Byelorussia to attend this fair; * To give the possibility for companies from EU countries to take part in the fair reducing the price for stand rental for them comparing with the price of last year; * To attract businessmen to the Baltic region with 10 million population, which is one of the most rapidly developing European markets; * To present latest pret-a-porter collections for spring/summer 2004 to the new customers from all owe the world in the fashion show BALTIJOS MADA; * To attract from all countries the companies - manufacturers of machinery and modern equipment, technology, spare parts and supplements for the textile and leather industries equipment.
