United States Of America : Warnaco Extends Chaps Licensing Deal |

Warnaco Group Inc has added two five-year renewal terms to its Chaps licensing deal with Polo/Ralph Lauren Corp, potentially extending the license through to the end of 2018.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission the company said that before the amendment the license was due to expire on 31 December 2008.
It has also broadened the scope of the Chaps men''s sportswear license to include a jeanswear collection, activewear and swimwear.
Warnaco has also agreed to introduce a redesigned Chaps trademark and logo, the filing said.
