The objectives of the ECTT are to assess the present and potential domestic and international market size of important technical textile products and preparing project profiles for select products having maximum market potential.
It also aims to identify infrastructure gaps, testing facilities, quality certification and suggest a legislation to promote application of technical textiles and fiscal measures to promote growth of technical textiles.
