Pitti Immagine, the Italian exhibition organiser, on Wednesday revealed the dates for menswear event Pitti Uomo and childrenswear event Pitti Bimbo for the next four years.
Gaetano Marzotto, president of Pitti Immagine, and general manager Raffaello Napoleone, said they will stick to their proving strategy of being the first event in the international fashion exhibition season as they announced that Pitti Uomo will take place next year from 8 to 11 January and from 24 to 27 June.
The other dates for the menswear event are 13 to 16 January and 23 to 26 June 2005, 12 to 15 January and 22 to 25 June 2006 and 11 to 14 January and 21 to 24 June 2007. Pitti Bimbo will be held from 16 to 18 January and 2 to 4 July 2004 and then twice a year in January and July for the following three years. Both events will continue to be held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence as well as yarns, fibres and knitted fabrics Pitti Filati and Pitti Casa, which from next year will be staged once a year.
Pitti Filati will take place from 4 to 6 February and 7 to 9 July 2004 while Pitti Casa is scheduled to run from 30 January to 1 February 2004. Shoe and leather accessories trade fair Modapelle will be held from 25 to 26 March and 23 to 24 September 2004.
