Privacywear - Setting A New Trend In Fashion |
2003-10-29
PrivacyWear, a web-based clothier, has taken fashion to another level by combining quality urban feel apparel with a solid mission to find a cure for Breast Cancer. To achieve this mission, PrivacyWear is taking a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of their clothing to help fund multiple Breast Cancer programs.
"We have the best of both worlds at PrivacyWear. We are able to create, design and wear the hippest clothes while at the same time giving back to one of the most worthy causes," says Yvette Campbell, Chief Operations Officer. "It''s really exciting to be part of a company that is taking groundbreaking steps in the fashion world, while using quality apparel as a way to raise money for a worthy cause. This will truly be a new trend in the apparel industry."
While PrivacyWear is predominately a web-based operation, they plan to launch their collection in department stores in spring 2004. "We are excited with our progress thus far, and we look forward to touching the masses with our mission and cause. With every piece of clothing purchased, the consumer will receive valuable information about Breast Cancer," says Terrence Campbell, Chief Marketing Officer.
"PrivacyWear''s ultimate goal is to expand the apparel collection and to educate consumers about Breast Cancer prevention, detection, and treatment," says Carolyn Jones, President and Founder. Ms. Jones lost her mother to the fight against breast cancer in November 2000.
