M&B Plans To Enter Into Apparel Segment |

Sole licencee of Lee Cooper shoes in India and owner i-D Shoes brand M&B Footwear is planning to venture into apparels and accessories segment next year.
General manager (sales & marketing) of M&B Footwear Vikas Bagga said that "We are planning to introduce our own accessories range in April 2004 which would be followed by launch of apparel in October next year,".
The company decided to enter into the apparels and accessories after seeing the huge response response to launch of niche segment Lee Cooper and i-D range of shoes.
Bagga said "We are also planning to expand our distribution network within the country and that in the countries in which we export our products,".
About its shoe business Bagga said “We have been recently allotted separate plots by Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal government to set up manufacturing units there. We will invest in the range of Rs 3-4 crore to produce about 30,000 pairs of shoes in mid-segment.”
