China''''''''s Ministry of Commerce announced late Tuesday that it is scheduled to
lift anti-dumping duties on polyester film imported from South Korea at the
end of this year (Dec 29, 2004). Any applications to review the closing date
of the duty should be sent to the Ministry 60 days before the duty lapses, and
the request should be made in writing, the ministry said. The Chinese
government had imposed anti-dumping duties on Korean polyester film from Dec
29, 1999, effective for five years until Dec 29, 2004.
