USA: Columbia Sportswear Company reshuffles management team |

Columbia Sportswear Company, a global leader in the active outdoor apparel and footwear industries, informed that Mark Sandquist has been named Vice President - Columbia Sportswear Apparel and Doug Prentice has been named Vice President - Global Outerwear Integration.
Sandquist joined Columbia in 1995 as Senior Merchandiser of Men''s and Women''s Sportswear. In 2000, he was named General Manager - Sportswear Merchandising.
Tim Boyle, President and Chief Executive Officer said, "Columbia''s sportswear and outerwear product categories will be brought together under Mark''s leadership."
"This will allow us to maximize our merchandising and design resources and provide better opportunities for synergy among product categories," he added.
Prentice joined Columbia in 1984 as General Manager - Outerwear Merchandising. In 2001, he was named Vice President and General Manager - Outerwear Merchandising.
"Doug has led Columbia''s outerwear division for many years and has exceptional knowledge of high performance outerwear and international brand development," continued Boyle.
"We will rely on his input in integrating outerwear products for the Columbia, Mountain Hardwear and Sorel brands globally,” he concluded. |
