Foreign companies eager to tap into China’s fast growing technical textiles and nonwovens market will be present at CINTE to be held from 1 to 3 September 2004 at INTEX in Shanghai.
The strong participation at promotional seminars held recently in Europe suggests that international manufacturers of technical textiles and nonwovens are eager to explore China, the world’s fastest growing market.
The seminars, which outlined developments in the Chinese technical textiles and nonwovens market, were held in the UK, France, Italy and Spain attracted many European manufacturers planning to develop a closer co-operation with China.
Cinte Techtextil China provides an opportunity for foreign companies to meet Chinese professionals.
China’s consumption of technical textiles and nonwovens has soared following the nation’s entry into the WTO and experts predict that this growth will be maintained for at least a decade.
Responding to this huge demand, China’s technical textiles output has grown rapidly, however the more technologically advanced items including materials for high-temperature filtration, the medical sector, architectural and automotive textile products still have to be imported.
Foreign companies are keen to tap into this fast growing market and Cinte Techtextil China is the ideal platform to meet Chinese professionals with more than 7,000 trade visitors expected in 2004.
More than half of the companies exhibiting at the show are from outside China and national pavilions from Austria, Canada, Germany, the UK and Italy will showcase their new products and technologies.
Richard Cormier, Vice-President Commercial Development Services, The Centre for Textiles Technologies Group (CTT) said, "Canada is becoming a major player in the technical textile market, and our presence in high profile events around the world is strategic to our industry."
Focus on the latest technology:
Developments in the technical textiles and nonwovens industry are constant and to keep visitors and exhibitors informed of global innovations, Cinte Techtextil China Symposium is scheduled to run from the 31 August – 2 September 2004.
