FA.NI. has launched a new range of a Roving Stop Motion devices for ring spinning frames. The ROVING STOP MOTION BP-06 is a device, which makes it possible to stop the roving feed under the drafting arm following a yarn break in ring spinning frames.
The main advantages of the Roving Stop Motion are: - Reduced waste (pneumafil): without the Roving Stop Motion, after a break, the roving continues to be drafted, is removed by the suction tubes and ends up in the pneumafil. - Solution to the problem of lap forming: by preventing direct damage to the drafting unit (cots and aprons, etc…) or indirect damage caused by the operator during lap removal.
With the new Roving Stop Motion BP-06 Twin-Stop FANI introduces new advantages compared to the classic Roving Stop Motion.
In fact, the Roving Stop Motion devices available on the market stop the roving feed between the two feed rollers. Therefore the portion of the roving, which has already come out of the feed rollers will in any case be drafted and consequently sucked into the pneumafil.
The Roving Stop Motion BP-06 Twin-Stop will stop roving between both, middle and delivery rollers.
Further, considerable reduction of the pneumafil can be obtained with the BP-06 Twin-Stop. In fact, the pneumafil which is produced is the result of: - Active pneumafil produced by the breaks. - Passive pneumafil produced by the normal suction during the spinning process.
Generally, the passive pneumafil is greater in quantity than the active pneumafil.
The classic Roving Stop Motion only acts on the active pneumafil, whereas the BP-06 Twin-Stop can also act on the passive pneumafil. In fact, the complete and immediate stop of the roving inside the drafting zone after an end break allows reducing the suction power reducing passive pneumafil.
FA.NI based in Italy, and has been present in the textile automation and control industry since 1975. |
