USA:Pakistan Pavilion in limelight at the ASAP Show |

Pakistan Pavilion has been drawing large crowds at the leading US apparel show ASAP at Las Vegas from day one itself.
17 Pakistani exhibitors have been receiving encouraging response at the show which opened on August 30, 2004, according to Export Promotion Board of Pakistan.
Abid Javed Akbar, EPB Vice Chairman also visited Pakistani stalls displaying fashion textile apparels.
Notably, Pakistan has been declared as the focus country at the show this year.
Akbar also met Carl Smith, Director of Sourcing, Fruit of Looms, owned by the second richest man in the world, Warren Buffet.
Fruit of Looms has an annual business of $ 6 billion and has shown keen interest in additional procuring, apart its current dealing with Pakistani suppliers. |
