The International Leather Days Fair (ILD) will host leather professionals from around the world in Istanbul from 10 - 12 December 2004, when it displays the designs and export power of the Turkish Leather industry.
International Leather Days is seen by organizers Ezgi Ajans as particularly important for Turkish companies working with EU and CIS countries in leather, subsidiary industries, machinery and chemicals.
The Turkish leather industry, which has become one of the biggest in the world, is turning to countries with stable demand trends like Germany, the UK and other European countries as well as long established markets such as Russia.
The 14th ILD will provide an opportunity for contacts between Turkish companies and buyers from Eastern Europe, North Africa, the Far East and Mediterranean countries. Buyers are also expected from the USA, Canada and South America countries.
Golden Horn, a raw materials exhibition, will be held at the same time as ILD at the Beylikduzu Fair Centre.
Golden Horn is important for subsidiary industries to the leather fair. It will display skins and leather for shoes, bags, upholstery, and subsidiary industry products.
