France:Wood flooring producer Panaget to come up with second facility |

A second production site is in the offing for the French wooden parquet flooring Panaget, subsidiary of German group MDB. With a factory in Bourgbarre in Ille-et-Vilaine, second site is to be Redon, less than an hour from its first site.
When on stream in January 2005, the plant will produce 250,000 sq m of flooring per year, compared with 900,000 at the first site.
About 6m Euros will be invested in the new site over a period of three years. Initially employing around 20, the company aims to recruit 60 staff, over the next three years.
Last year, Panaget with 200 staff achieved a turnover of 24m euros, 10 per cent higher than previous year. In 2004, it is hoping to increase its sales volumes by around 15 per cent. |
