A visiting Turkish trade delegation met Jordan’s Industry and Trade Minister Ahmad Hindawi to discuss ways and means for increasing the volume of trade exchange and prospects for Turkish investments in Jordan, on Sunday.
During the first eight months of 2004, Turkey bought JD5.3 million of Jordanian products and sold the Kingdom JD83.4 million worth of Turkish goods. Bound by a trade, economic and industrial agreement with Jordan,
Turkey buys Jordanian fertilisers, phosphate and raw leather. It exports to the Kingdom electrical appliances, grain, garments, vegetables and fruits and machinery. |
