UAE:Italy marks inroads into the Dubai Fashion Jewellery |

Italy has registered a 10 fold increase in participation in the upcoming International Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair (IFJA) and the International Watch & Clock Fair (IWCF) which will be held simultaneously from 12 – 14 March 2005 at Hall 4 of Dubai International Convention Centre.
“More than 50% of our previous exhibitors have rebooked stalls and doubled their requirements. This positive trait shows that the show is indeed growing strong and has a good future ahead,” said Mr. Emad Al Hawai, Managing Director of International Exposition – The organizers of IFJA & IWCF.
IFJA & IWCF 2005 is expected to attract more than 150 exhibitors from around the world in just its second edition, which will feature some of the most famous and prominent names in the fashion jewellery industry like BELLE ARTI SRL from Italy.
BELLE ARTI SRL, who were one of the runaway hits in 2004 and will be doubling their stall space for the 2005 show, are specialized in manufacture of Italian Silver Jewellery, clad in modern and innovative designs, with a passion for detail. Over the years, BELLE ARTI have gained the recognition tag of ‘a partner you can trust’ from their clients for their efforts put into the detailed research of techniques in production.
Originating from Vicenza - Italy, BELLE ARTI has also stepped into production of qualitative replicas of classic diamond jewellery aimed at making expensive jewellery more affordable and wearable. BELLE ARTI will also be launching its latest brand named “BELLAGIOIA” exclusively for the Middle East market in the upcoming edition of IFJA & IWCF 2005. BELLAGIOIA – The Flag-Collection for BELLE ARTI, which is currently distributed only in Spain, will also be introduced soon into Germany and Japan along with the UAE.
“The retailers will be provided with best collections and necessary accessories such as displays and advertising supports for helping the distribution,” added Mr. Piazza.
IFJA & IWCF 2005 form a unique platform for the launch of credible collections like BELLAGIOIA into the Middle East Market, with the emergence of Dubai as the fashion and fine jewellery capital of the region with a clientele appreciative of innovations in the industry. The commercial hub with an ideal retail environment has marked its growing demand with nearly US$ 1.6 billion in jewellery imports in 2002 along with exports worth US$ 20 million and US$ 153 million in re-exports, growing into a bigger and more sophisticated player in the world market.
Apart from the above facts, IFJA & IWCF 2005 will make its strong presence felt in the industry with inclusion of new country pavilions, a special pavilion for industry publications, a separate negotiation area and an alluring catwalk show exhibiting latest trends in the two industries.
The show has already captured attention from big markets worldwide and further enquiries are flowing in from countries like Czech Republic, Germany, Russia, Italy, Hong Kong, China, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Taiwan, South Korea, South Africa, Thailand, France, Turkey, Philippines etc.

In its maiden edition in 2004, IFJA & IWCF attracted more than 1800 trade buyers, 81% of them coming from the Middle East region.
With more than 60% of the exhibiting space sold out and just 3 months remaining to the event, IFJA & IWCF is still open for participation and is growing strong.
