Uganda:Uganda Fashion Week unravels finest of talents |

Uganda Fashion Week commenced with a whole range of Afro centric fashion display, last weekend.
Talent was evident in myriad of colours and fabrics, unique cuts, a wide range of accessories, jewellery in beads, brass, copper, coconut, porcupine spikes and animal skin making the showcase this year bold and expressive.
From Zahra''s Glamour Hats, to Arapapa''s wide range of accessories, designers Ann and Herbet Musisi''s Samaki which was printed and stitched, or Glomour Brides bridal dressings to Fashion Harbours fun an sexy dresses, all had their moment of glory at the show.
Designers were at their best – be it vintage or ethnic or simply boisterous prints in all colours, shades, forms and styles.
Also designers like Gemma Collection, Maranatha School of Fashion, African Corner, Stella Atal, Imagez, Flair, Fafloso Batik, KGM, Kateda, Loita Designs, Nanko, Sandra Duche, Phenix Logistics, Top Shop, RSU, and Kabale Textiles participated along with a host of others made it even grand a display of the country’s growing wealth of talent. |
