Vietnam:Bilateral trade with EU worth €6.4 billion in 2005 |

Bilateral trade between Viet Nam and the European Union this year is estimated to be around €6.4 billion, which is 20% increase compared to previous year, as per the Foreign Ministry report.
€5 billion worth of goods exported from Viet Nam against an import of 1.5 billion from the EU. The exports include footwear, handicrafts, clothing and textiles. This bilateral trade is expected to increase by another €2 billion in the next year.
Brisk bilateral trade is expected post quota. Currently the European Union has several investment projects in Viet Name with a capital worth €6.8 billion.
