The jewellery and precious stone fashion 2004 exhibition, jointly organised by Fine Art Handicrafts and Jewellery Fashion Magazine and the Viet Nam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad) under the Ministry of Trade (MoT), is to promote jewellery and products made from the gemstones of local jewelers.
Over 100 businesses and jewelers'' villages will partake in a 5-day exhibition to be held in Ha Noi for the first time.
Fine art handicrafts are one of Viet Nam''s key export items earning US$ 410 million in 2004, up 11 percent over the previous year, as per the MoT sources.
About 133 countries worldwide have access to Vietnamese fine handicrafts. Japan, the European Union (EU) and the US are the country''s largest markets. |
