Indonesia:Textile exporters need to attach Certificate Of Origin |

With the end of world textile quota system on December 31, the Indonesian government has made mandatory for exporters to attach a Master Bill of Lading (Master B/L) and Certificate of Origin (COO) to all for their exported goods effective from January 1, 2005.
The Ministry''s Director General for foreign trade, Sudar SA said, "The Minister of Trade has enacted a decree regulating the administrative aspects of exporting textiles and clothing in the post-quota regime."
He added that the documents were administrative requirements specified by the World Trade Organization (WTO) after the quota system expired.
The ruling was signed by Minister for Trade Mari E Pangestu in a Ministerial Decree No. 04/M/Kep/12/2004 on December 28, 2004 and has been in effect since January 1, 2005.
