China:Record exports at $63.8bn widen trade gaps for China in December 2004 |

The U.S., Europe and Japan and the world over has just not stopped buying Chinese-made clothes, cell phones and computers!
On the contrary, burgeoning Chinese exports of the above and other products have witnessed China''s exports rise by 33 percent in December to reached an all-time high of $63.8 billion widening the trade surplus to a record $11.1 billion, the official Ministry of Commerce web site informed.
Imports rose 25 percent from a year earlier to a record $52.7 billion. Experts attribute this to strong global growth including in Asia and in China itself. |
