The swimwear world of BestSwimwear.com announced the return of the Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Polka Dot Bikini on the fashion scene of 2005. The online retailer set shop in 1996 having 22 premium swimwear lines. Several of them are featured in top fashion publications, and its B2B website has over four million visitors annually.
This leading on-line retailer of designer swimwear, reports that most of the 22 designer swimwear lines which they carry will offer a variant of the polka dot bikini this season.
“Since opening our business in 1996, we have not seen a revival this focused and this well received,” states Claude Dauman, President of BestSwimwear.com. “While there will still be many other options besides polka dot bikinis this season, early signs indicate that the many of our customers will want to have at least one polka dot bikini for 2005.”
Achieving great popularity in 1960, in no small part to Brian Hyland’s hit single, “Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini,” the polka dot bikini brings us back to a simpler time when Burma-Shave signs dotted the country side, Pink Cadillacs were in, Hula Hoops were hot and 3-D movies were considered cutting edge technology.
BestSwimwear.com features some of this season’s hottest styles, including the Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie TNA swimwear Polka Halter Bikini. The Vix Swimwear Divine Khaki and the OndadeMar Capri polka dot bikinis are slightly less skimpy. Others offer more full coverage, such as the Mimosa and Microdot polka dot bikinis by Pursuit. |
