Shanghaitex 2005, that is the 11th edition of the International Exhibition on Textile Industry, will be held during June 3-7, 2005 in Shanghai New International Expo Center, Pudong (Shanghai).
The importance of this trade fair has increased alongside the growth of the whole local textile sector. Since its first edition, the scale of Shanghaitex has been increasing steadily in terms of exhibitors, visitors and exhibition area.
Also, the Italian manufacturers of textile machinery have been given a positive answer to this event since its beginning. At Shanghaitex 2005, more than 100 Italian textile machinery manufacturers like A.S.S.I.S.T. C.E.A.M. GROUP INTERNATIONAL (CONSORZIO EXPORT ALTO MILANESE), CIMI, COMOEXPORT, FIRST, LOPTEX, ORIZIO, SIATEX, ZENTEX among others will exhibit, representing one of the most significant attendance among non Chinese exhibitors.
In 2004, China was the first customer for the Italian textile machinery industry, with a share of 15% on the total Italian exports, worth Euro 311 million.
Spinning machines were largely requested (41% of the Italian sales in China in 2004), followed by weaving machines (26%) and knitting machines (22%).
The push to the technological updating of the textile process could be a further occasion of meeting between Italian and Chinese operators.
The attendance to Shanghaitex is part of an active promotional program in China that ACIMIT and the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) have been carrying out for many years.
Italian entrepreneurs coming to Shanghai are sure of the quality of their proposals that have given them one of the highest position in the world of textile machinery. |
