A new 8-inch-per-second thermal transfer printer that delivers fast, reliable production of fabric care labels in apparel, textile and bedding applications is now available from Avery Dennison Printer Systems. The product, called the AVERY DENNISON? AP 7.t, processes polyester and satin care labels, as well as coated and nylon materials.

The printer can be equipped with an optional integrated cutter/stacker.

The AVERY DENNISON AP 7.t printer’s 32-bit microprocessor facilitates quick setup and formatting of care labels with unique data. The system prints all popular 1D and 2D bar codes, graphics, human-readable copy, and international textile care symbols on labels measuring up to 4.2 inches wide. Maximum print resolution is 300 dpi.

A specially coated drive roller and optimized material path ensure crisp, precise printing and reduce the risk of jams. Printed labels remain legible even after repeated washing and dry-cleaning cycles.

Network Compatibility
The AVERY DENNISON AP 7.t comes with 19 standard fonts, including two scalable fonts. Commonly used textile care symbols are supplied with the system’s built-in software, rather than contained on a separate font card. The printer’s Ethernet interface allows users to fully integrate the AP 7.t into a company’s network environment.

In addition to the optional cutter/stacker, the AVERY DENNISON AP 7.t can be supplied with an optional printhead cleaning kit that can help users extend printhead life and an optional rewinder that fits various label roll sizes.
