Vietnam:Textile & apparel exports free from quota fees for US market |

In accordance with Decision 52 of the Ministry of Finance, the enterprises exporting textile and garment products to the US market, now onwards do not have to pay quota fees. The United States is at present, only country curbing textile and garment products imported from Vietnam.
The scraping of quota fees will initially relieve nearly 800 exporters from range of current burdens in doing their business with US importers as well as enhance textile and garment export to this market.
According to the advance estimated data by the Vietnam Trade Office in the US depicts that the export turnover to the US market could reach US $6 billion, this year, in which, textiles and garments would be major contributors.
