An international garment technology, fabrics and accessories exhibition ''Gar-Fab Tx 2005'' will be kick off in Chennai on Friday. The exhibition will display technological improvements in apparel and cost cutting machines during its three days schedule.
B P Mishra, CEO of Xhibitions & Konferences India, which is organized this trade show informed that that more that 50 companies and over 150 brands from all over the country and overseas, will participate in the event.
The exhibition is supposed to be first since the elimination of global textile quota system in January of this year. It is also expected to provide a platform to garment makers, garment exporters, silk goods makers and exporters, buying houses and buying agents, knitwear makers and exporters to meet technology and services providers, Mishra said.
The show will be held at the Chennai Trade Centre and will be showcasing machineries for sewing, finishing, laundry, embroidery, knitting, fabrics and accessories sectors.
