Danbury based home furnishing maker Ethan Allen Interiors Inc has completed the establishment of several wholly owned subsidiary companies to better reflect the various operations of the vertically integrated manufacturer and retailer of home furnishings.

Ethan Allen Global Inc is focused on developing the marketing programs of the company and also is responsible for the overall corporate financial functions. Ethan Allen Operations Inc is involved in the sourcing and logistics of the company. Ethan Allen Retail Inc manages the retail stores operated by the company.

Chairman and CEO Farooq Kathwari stated, "Company is pleased to announce the promotions of Corey Whitely, currently Vice President of Operations, to the position of Executive Vice President (EVP) of Ethan Allen Operations Inc and Ed Teplitz, currently Vice President and General Manager of the Retail Division, to the position of Executive Vice President of Ethan Allen Retail Inc. I am pleased with the continued development and strengthening of management team."

Corey Whitely started his association with Ethan Allen in 1988 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as a General Manager and has progressively taken on management responsibility in the retail and operations of the company. Ed Teplitz started as an Ethan Allen independent retailer in 1993 in Pittsburgh and joined corporate in 2001 as Vice President Finance, and took on the responsibility of the Retail Division in 2003.

US based Ethan Allen Interiors Inc is a vertically integrated manufacturer and retailer. The company sells its full range of home furnishings products through an exclusive international network of 313 retail stores, of which 126 are company-owned.
