India:Sewing machine maker Pegausus to collaborate with SIFT |

One of the leading sewing machine maker of Japan and indeed of the world, Pegasus Sewing Machine has shown keen desire to join hands with Ludhiana’s Sportking Institute of Fashion Technology (SIFT) under technical collaboration.
On a maiden visit to the SIFT campus at Civil Lines, Ludhiana, in Punjab, Kunihiko Murata led the Pegasus team.
Takayuki Yari, a member of the eam informed that his company could offer SIFT students international exposure that would provided much needed boost to the fashion and textile industry of Ludhiana.
Pegasus team was welcomed at the campus by Raj Avasthi, Chairman SIFT and other board members.
Vist of the Japanese digitaries at the institute provided a unique opportunity for students and the faculty members to interact and learn more about the company.
Pegasus will send experts to conduct seminars and exhibitions in the college premises and offer internship to SIFT students in their company.
