Some new phenomena regarding the textile trade were displayed at the 98th Chinese Export Commodities Fair, which is currently taking place in the absence of a Sino-US agreement to solve the textile trade between the nations.

First of all, the number of US textile merchandisers in the biannual event has dropped significantly. Even for Shanshan Enterprise, a big name in the Chinese textile industry, its general manager told local media that he had talked to only one US visitors in the first two show days, which was very different from past experience.
