Organized by Teknik Ltd, between the dates 27 June –2 July 2006 ITM 2006 Textile Machinery Exhibition ITM 2006 offers a great chance to present the technological applications to the world in textile, to see the technical innovations and to practise them. ITM exhibitions that will take Turkey to the top in the world textile industry will make Istanbul the capital city of textile.
Signing an agreement with CNR EXPO International Fair and Congress Center, in order to realize ITM 2006 on a larger area with more exhibitors, Teknik Ltd. will allow more exhibitor companies to display more textile machinery and more visitors to see the exhibition in a larger area in CNR Expo, having totally 100 thousand sqm and 8 large halls; when compared with ITM 2004, which was organized last year (2005).
Textile Leaders now Prefer Istanbul
Improving their capacities and machinery parks constantly, Turkish Textile companies gave considerable amount of new machinery orders at ITM 2004. Since exhibitors’ and visitors’ expectations from a sectoral exhibition were perfectly satisfied; there were great demands for making ITM 2004 exhibition a brand name and realizing it periodically. Thus Teknik Ltd. decided to organize ITM 2006 Exhibition between the dates 27th June and 2nd July 2006 and following that, to repeat ITM Exhibitions once in every 2 year.
Impressed by the success of ITM 2006 and movement of developments through Istanbul and Middle East; also worlds leading brands show great demand for ITM 2006 reservations which started during ITM 2004. It’s observed that textile leaders, who regard Istanbul the only gate to reach both Turkish textile companies and to Middle East, Caucasus Republics, Russia and to Eastern Europe; are getting ready for a splendid show.
Leading brands such as Monforts, Karl Mayer, Marzoli, Santex, Uster, Picanol, Saurer, Van de Wiele, Truetschler, Dornier and Smit Textile; which direct world textile technology; have already completed their ITM 2006 reservations.
Besides; due to the excessive interests of leading textile companies of Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Belgium and England; all of the boots of weaving, yarn and dying-printing and finishing halls are sold out.
While ITM 2006 is taking its place amount indispensable exhibitions of all world companies and brands; Teknik Ltd., excessively continues promotions of International Textile Machinery Exhibition ITM 2006 by exhibiting in all domestic and foreign exhibitions.
It is thought that, taking Turkey to the top in world textile sector, these exhibitions will make Istanbul capital city of textile.
“The companies have already focused on ITM 2006”
Stating that they carry out very serious studies for the promotion of ITM 2006 Exhibition, Teknik Ltd. Technical Operations Director Umit Vural explains the importance of ITM exhibitions as follows:
“As TeknikLtd, which securely proceeds on the way of branding with ITM exhibitions, we have a great activity in ITM 2006 Exhibition sales. Our goal is never just to fill up the exhibition area. Our goal is also to offer our exhibitors the market environment and visitors, which they can sell their products, and make business connections. In the direction of this goal, we are carrying out really serious studies for the promotion of ITM Exhibition.
Turkey is still the hearth of this region in terms of exhibitions. Turkey is the most comfortable, cheapest, easiest and the most beautiful country that European and Turkish producers will exhibit, run their machinery in the best way, and will host visitors coming from surrounding countries in the best way. In my opinion, this will continue in this way almost in the following 15 years.
The exhibition, which people who want to sell their machinery will exhibit, is Textile Machinery Exhibition in Turkey. It’s obviously proven that, this exhibition is ITM. These exhibitions are the ones, which investors, industrialists, producers of countries in this region will reach in the easiest way and will be able to find the best problem-free exhibition atmosphere.
Also this is not to be forgotten that; the key point in investors’ making their existence and achievements continuous in such a process that competition in textile world is increasing; is to reach world standards and maintain the continuance of these standards. I see benefits in evaluation of these exhibitions from this perspective.”
Teknik Ltd. Marketing and Sales Director Necip Güney states that the companies in textile sector, which offer technology for this sector have focused on ITM; and he explains that:
“We have decided to repeat ITM exhibition, which successfully satisfied the expectations of exhibitors and visitors from a sectoral exhibition, once in every 2 year. While there is a slowing down in worldwide textile sector and accordingly in such exhibitions; we realized that textile machinery exhibition ITM that we realized in Turkey will even surpass European exhibitions.
Such factors as; the exhibiting fees of exhibitions in Europe are high, there is a sectoral decreasing in Europe, and textile production starts to move from this region to other regions; cause European exhibitions to lose their attractions. This naturally makes ITM Exhibitions more advantageous each day.
Geographically, our closeness to The Middle East, Turkic Republics, Balkans and Europe give us extra advantages. In terms of distance, Turkey costs less. It is possible to travel to The Middle East even by high way. We think that, an exhibition organized such a central point will be more improved and more demanded one in the future. Our target markets are obvious. We mainly aim the whole Middle East, Turkic Republics and Balkan countries. Most of our target visitors come from these regions. When we look at the Far East; we see China and its neighboring countries. We, honestly, also expect high number of visitors from these regions.”
