China exported over $1 billion worth textile products worldwide, during the first ten months this year even as its exports to India marked clear growth in individual segments, reveals China's Ministry of Commerce. Silk, silk yarn and silk fabric exports to India reached $347.61 million recording 23.52 percent rise over same period in the previous year.
Exports to India of impregnate textile fabrics grew $266.62 million, up 90.09 percent.
Chinese man-made filament and fabrics exports saw 42.31 percent at $186.95 million.
India, the figures indicate, purchased $94.29 million worth cotton, yarn and fabric from China, a 65.78 percent rise over last year, same period. The Ministry informs that the United States, Japan, Russia, Germany, South Korea, Britain, Italy, UAE, Canada, Australia, France, Spain, Singapore, the Netherlands, Panama, Saudi Arabia besides India, were among the major Chinese textile products destinations in this period.
