French fabrics show, Texworld, will extend more space by 16 percent at its upcoming event next year in a step to enter new companies to the event.
The exhibition has leased two new halls with a total space of 3,200 square metres in close proximity to the CNIT Paris La Defense exhibition centre, where it occupies six halls. The further extension brings the total space of Texworld to 23,500 square metres.
The exhibition, which runs alongside fabrics event Premiere Vision, focuses on collections from India, Pakistan, China, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Brazil and Turkey apart from its European offering.
Organiser Messe Frankfurt anticipates having 700 exhibitors at the enlarged event, which will take place from 20 to 23 February 2006. In September 2005, Texworld had 618 exhibitors and lured 18,595 buyers, an increase of 7 percent over the September event in 2004.
"The extension increases the already big global offer of Texworld and prepares the event for the move to the Porte de Versailles venue planned for 2007," Messe Frankfurt stated. www.world-textile-news.com
