Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd will organize Yarn Expo during March 29 to April 31, 2006. Yarn Expo Spring 2006 is a unique opportunity to showcase innovative yarns and fibres. Beside its excellent range of the latest yarns and fibres, Yarn Expo Spring is recognised by professionals for the originality of the products displayed.
Past exhibitors have successfully used the show to launch new items, which have included functional fibres, environmentally friendly yarns and products made using egg white, bamboo, milk, soybean protein and natural minerals.
It is the only specialised yarn marketing show for north and northeast China. Yarn Expo Spring is Beijing and northeast China’s most important sourcing platform for weavers and knitters seeking the latest technological developments and new products.
The right place at the right time Yarn Expo Spring 2006 will run the same week as Intertextile Beijing (28 – 30 March 2006 at the Beijing Exhibition Centre).
New venue! - In 2006, the fair will be held in a new venue: the China World Trade Center. Close to the new underground system and with many hotels nearby, this exhibition centre occupies a prime location in the heart of Beijing’s Central Business District.
Since the quota abolition in January 2005, China’s appetite for fibres and yarns has dramatically increased. China has imported over 788,200 tons worth of woolen, cotton and synthetic yarn in 2005.
