China : Wool in full bloom in Inner Mongolia
Wool of Inner Mongolia is considered ‘fibre diamond’ in the world and wool industry, which is ‘soft gold’, is quickly developing in the region.
At present, more than 500 wool enterprises are active in Inner Mongolia, from which Eroduosi Group and Luwang Wool Group have gained international recognition.
The reason of this growth is that Chinese wool market offers large scope for development as country is the biggest exporter of wool products in the world; however, most of the wool exporters are in southern China.
Moreover, quality of wool is better in Inner Mongolia than in the south cities.
There are a few big enterprises which manufacture wool products in Inner Mongolia. So, the local government is encouraging wool industry to flourish.
