China : Textile sector quotas trap Dongwan city enterprises
Latest issue that concerns Dongwan city is the textile quotas where its firms who are unable qualify to acquire individual quotas, nor able to purchase them from other enterprises at high costs.
And yet, these firms have no other option as they need quotas to survive.
Anxious experts say that such situation will place a new trade venture at a disadvantage adversely affecting the competitive advantage of those enterprises that buy the export quota of textile.
In long run, entire development of textile sector will be affected, they opine.
