2006-9-13
Dalian city in China is famous for its sandy white beaches, beautiful city landscaping and public lawns showing the interests of people in keeping city in order. The fanaticism does not end here.
Fashion addicts have brought wardrobe-changing potential alive at the ongoing China International Garment and Textile Fair starting on Saturday. Fashion crazy people thronged the Xinghai Convention Centre to explore the stands and watch the runway shows.
The fair provides ideal platform for the upcoming designers to get in contact with international buyers and consultants. More than 650 brands from 56 cities belonging to different parts of the world have registered for the fair.
Trands, the city’s top fashion brand has transformed itself to become the prominent force in the menswear market in China. Bright colors are made for young people while a darker line of sambre, black, indigo and white garments were for urban gentlemen.
Li Guilian, Chief Executive of Dayang Trands Co Ltd informed that they had been looking for international opportunities with Ivano Catterin who is the chief designer of Giorgio Armani.
The fair is keen to promote its own fashion by having its own men to design the dresses. Mater course named International Fashion Design and R&D has started on subjects of men and womenswear designs, Italian menswear fabric and craftsmanship and marketing and management. |
