China : Jiangxi takes 7th spot as clothing production area |

As a result of major changes in the international industry, many textile and clothing companies have set up factories in Jiangxi province, making it the 7th ranked production area in China.
Currently, Jiangxi boasts 447 clothing and textile units.
In 2005, textile and clothing export value of this region was over US $735 million.
By now, six large clothing and textile industry areas have been formed at key cities like Nanchang, Jiujiang and Nankang with 500, 80 and 362 units. |
