China : Import tariff quotas for cotton to be maintained for next year |

Chinese Government has decided not to make any change in import tariff quotas next year, according to National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
NDRC has decided to maintain import tariff quotas of 894,000 tons for cotton of which state owned companies will be allocated 33.33 percent of those maintained.
As per the NDRC rule, companies which are planning to import cotton through processing trade, barter trade, general trade will have to apply for import tariff quotas.
