YIWU H&G 2006 Closed with Great Success |

The highly recognized knitting machinery exhibition, The 7th Yiwu International Exhibition on Hosiery & Garment Industries (YIWU H&G 2006), closed successfully on Nov 17 at China Commodity City Meihu Exhibition Centre, Yiwu, Zhejiang, PR China. Overseas & local exhibitors on hosiery, knitting, dyeing & finishing crowded together to display their latest machineries & technologies to visitors from all over the world.
YIWU H&G has attained the honor of UFI approved event recently. It is also highly recognized by numerous exhibiting & visiting corporations as the exhibition to provide direction for their business development. Around 150 exhibitors from 11 countries and areas participated at the show, including Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Italy, Japan, Korea, PR China, Switzerland, Taiwan Province, Turkey. Among the exhibitors, around 60% was coming from overseas. Exhibiting area of YIWU H&G 2006 reached 9,000 sqm, which is a growth of 30% comparing with last year. Visitor flow of YIWU H&G 2006 has increased by 45% to 5,800, among which 5% are overseas visitors. The show reached its record high no matter in number of exhibitor, exhibiting scale and number of visitor flow!
"The Congress of Braiding Industry Development", which is organized concurrently with YIWU H&G 2006 by Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. and Yiwu City Hosiery Industry Association, has attracted abundant feedback from different companies. The congress was fully occupied with audience that organizers have to arrange exact seats to accommodate them. At the congress, Mr. Zhou Kai, General Manger of Jakob Mueller, presented "Trend of Braiding Industry Development" & Mr. Iv Jian, Assistant Marketing Director (China) of Fong's, spoke on the topic "Fong's Help to Raise Your Product Quality". These gave us an insight and stimulated exchange and discussion between speakers and audience.
"Trends of the Hosiery Industry" forum has also attracted great attention, Professor of Dong Hua University, Ms Zhang Pei Hua, gave us a presentation on "New Technologies and Materials Application on Weft Warp Products"; Mr. Jin Zhou Bin, Assistant General Manager of LangSha Group, presented "Quality and Innovation are the Core Elements to Maintain Contingency Development in China Hosiery Industry"; Mr. Jin Shan Fu, Chief Secretary of Yiwu City Hosiery Industry Association, gave a speech on "Advocate the Culture of Local Private Enterprises to Enhance the Competitiveness among Hosiery Industries". The reports and speeches presented brought the most advanced & authoritative theories & technologies regarding modern knitting, hosiery, dying & finishing to the public.
The success of congress & symposium showed that facing the demanding global environment, knitting corporations in China have awaked and competition focus has shifted from price to technology innovation & branding. Therefore, to provide the platform for information exchange & support on branding & latest technology would be the main responsibility and development direction of the organizers.
