On November 23, 2006, in China domestic textile material markets, PTA and MEG prices consolidated in downtrend. Prices of semi-dull and bright polyester chips and CDP continued declining.

Waste Polyester Bottle price started consolidation. Polyester staple fiber price kept stepping down. Prices of Acrylic staple fiber 1.5D×38mm and Acrylic top 3D×102mm indicated no change.

Prices of CPL and Nylon/Polyamide 6 chips maintained firm. Viscose staple fiber was dull. Polyester filament kept steady. Yarn and thread stayed in a dull state.

Rayon yarn faced relevant calm. With polyester staple fiber continuing tumbling, it is expected that polyester yarn will mainly consolidate in a downtrend.
