United States Of America : Children Place Ventures Into Amazon.com

Kids' clothing chain Children's Place Retail Stores Inc on Monday said its apparel was now available to buy through Amazon.com Inc.

The company said in a news release Amazon.com would manage the website and take care of everything through purchase when it will take control of delivering the goods to consumers.

Other leading brands such as Nordstrom and Gap already sell their fashions through Amazon.com which began selling clothing online late last year.

Children's Place spokesman Mario Ciampi said: "As online apparel shopping is fast becomingan established distribution channel, we are pleased to offer our brand on such an easily accessible and highly trafficked site as Amazon.com."
