DHL today launched the research study undertaken in India to understand the tremendous significance in view of the quota system December 2004, as per the WTO agreement.DHL Trade Confidence Index, the first ever rigorous sentiments and views of exporters. It assumes for garment exports due to be dismantled on 31st. The DHL Trade Confidence Index was launched by Mr Ramesh Natarajan, Head of Marketing for DHL India, at the DHL Fashion First Seminar Series, the fifth day of the Lakme India Fashion Week with Liberty 2003.
The DHL Trade Confidence Index measures exporter optimism about the probable future on various parameters, ranging from order expectations to response to various economic, legal and environmental factors. The first such Index in the country, the DHL Trade Confidence Index will be published every quarter and will help gauge movements in trade confidence linked to various economic and political conditions. These movements, depending upon new policies and changes in the international scene will provide a perspective on the possible impact of these factors on Exporter sentiments.
