Daqing Petrochemical has successfully tested its dope dyed acrylic fibre production line.

The new technique replaces the traditional acrylic dyeing process of chemical dyes with a new process that gives higher finished colour fastness and more protection from sunrays.

In the new production technique, the entire process is carried out without any wastewater discharge.

Dope dyed acrylic fibre is widely used in the making of umbrellas, tents, beach umbrellas and other outdoor leisure items.
