The upcoming Valentine’s Day next month would once again see many love-struck couples walk down the aisle in this dewy romantic season. To make the special day of their lives even more memorable, here is a list of latest wedding trousseau trends that the blushing, beautiful would-be brides can embrace to look radiant on the D-day.

 

The major trend that has been witnessed this season is the availability of colourful bridal gowns. Usual hues like white, cream and ivory have been replaced with warm tones of red and hot pink. Hollywood actresses like Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel and Reese Witherspoon made the trend even hotter by incorporating these unusual colours in their own wedding gowns.

 

Another trend that will dominate the forthcoming wedding season is the use of timeless lace and satin fabrics in bridal outfits. With red carpet ensemble like silhouettes, the voluminous skirts are being teamed up with floral backless bodices.

 

In terms of detailing and tailoring, gowns with peek-a-boo keyholes, painstakingly intricate embroidery and sheer overlays on backs seasoned with three-quarter or full-sleeves are really going to be big this season.
