The Michigan based retailer Kmart Management Corp launched a new branded apparel and footwear collection designed by Mexican superstar Thalia Sodi.
The Michigan-based operator of 1,500 stores is aming to cash in on the untapped Hispanic market with the singer and entertainer''s collection also featuring lingerie and leather goods.
Kmart president and CEO, Julian Day, described the collection as an "important addition" to its portfolio of exclusive brands.
"This new merchandise was designed and developed to meet the needs of the new American neighbourhood - a melting pot of culture, lifestyle and trend," he added.
