Britain''s largest clothing retailer, Marks & Spencer Group Plc, on Thursday said talks to sell its US grocery chain Kings Super Markets had collapsed yet again.
The company said potential bidders were having difficulty raising the cash amid tough fiscal markets for the business which it had hoped to sell to New York-based firm D''Agostino for $160 million late last year.
"In the current US climate it has not been possible for interested parties to raise sufficient funds to purchase Kings at what we perceive to be a fair price," chief executive Roger Holmes said in a statement.
